Job Requirements

1. Transaction Processing: This forms a core part of the job. Accountant Clerks process financial transactions, which can involve entering data into accounting software, recording accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping records.
2. Data Entry and Verification: They ensure the accuracy of financial data by carefully entering and verifying information from invoices, receipts, and other sources.
3. Reconciliation: Accountant Clerks reconcile accounts regularly, such as bank statements and credit card statements, to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
4. Accounts Payable and Receivable: They are often responsible for managing accounts payable (money owed to vendors) and accounts receivable (money owed by customers). This involves tasks like processing invoices and payments for vendors, sending invoices to customers, and following up on overdue accounts.
