Job Requirements

1. Install and assemble various AV equipment: This includes projectors, screens, speakers, microphones, cameras, lighting systems, and other equipment based on event requirements.
2. Connect and configure equipment: This involves cables, wires, and adapters to ensure proper functionality and signal transmission between different components.
3. Test and troubleshoot equipment: Before the event, AV technicians thoroughly test all equipment to ensure it's working properly and identify and resolve any technical issues that may arise.
4. Operate equipment during events: During presentations, conferences, meetings, or other events, AV technicians operate the equipment, adjust settings, and ensure smooth audio-visual experience for the audience.
5. Perform routine maintenance: This includes cleaning equipment, replacing batteries, and checking for signs of wear and tear to prevent malfunctions during events.
6. Minor repairs and troubleshooting: AV technicians can address minor technical issues on-site, such as loose cables, software glitches, or connection problems.
7. Report major repairs: For significant equipment malfunctions, they report the issue to supervisors or specialists for further repair or replacement.
