Job Requirements

1. Cash, Credit Card, and Electronic Payment Processing: You'll be responsible for handling customer transactions, accepting cash, credit cards, and potentially electronic payments. This involves ensuring accuracy, following proper procedures, and maintaining a cash drawer with sufficient change.
2. Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service is key. You'll greet customers, answer questions about products or services, and ensure a positive checkout experience.
3. Reconciling Cash Drawer: At the end of your shift, you'll need to reconcile your cash drawer, ensuring all transactions match the amount of cash and receipts on hand.
4. Receiving and Inspecting Deliveries: You'll be responsible for receiving incoming deliveries from vendors. This involves verifying quantities, checking for damage, and ensuring items match the packing slip or invoice.
5. Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate inventory levels is crucial. You might update inventory databases as you receive new stock, track product locations within the store, and identify any low-stock situations requiring reorders.
6. Unloading and Stocking Shelves: In some cases, you might be responsible for unloading deliveries, organizing and stocking shelves, ensuring products are properly displayed and easily accessible to customers.
