Experience:	1-2
Education:	Bachelor degree

1. Entering financial data: This involves recording financial transactions like accounts payable (money owed to suppliers) and accounts receivable (money owed by customers) into accounting software.
2. Reconciling bank statements: They compare bank statements with company records to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
3. Maintaining financial records: Accounts assistants/clerks organize and maintain accurate financial records, such as invoices, receipts, and general ledger accounts.
4. Processing invoices: They prepare and issue invoices to customers for goods or services rendered. This may involve ensuring invoices are accurate and contain all necessary details.
5. Processing payments: Accounts assistants/clerks receive and process customer payments, whether through cash, check, or electronic transfers. They may also record and track payments received.
6. Chasing overdue payments: In some cases, they may be responsible for following up on overdue payments from customers and taking steps to collect them.
