Job Requirements

1. Assisting patients with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and eating.
2. Ensuring hygiene and comfort by changing linens, positioning patients, and providing oral care.
3. Helping patients ambulate (move around) safely, using gait belts, wheelchairs, or other assistive devices.
4. Monitoring vital signs like temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
5. Recording intake and output of fluids.
6. Assisting with feeding, including tube feeding if necessary.
7. Collecting and documenting patient information including pain levels and concerns.
8. Providing companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
9. Communicating effectively with patients to understand their needs and concerns.
10. Offering comfort and reassurance during difficult times.
11. Respecting patient dignity and privacy.
12. Assisting with housekeeping tasks in patient rooms and common areas.
13. Maintaining infection control protocols to prevent the spread of germs.
14. Reporting any safety hazards or spills to the appropriate personnel.
