3. Negotiating contracts with suppliers: This involves securing the best possible terms for the organization, including price, quality, delivery time, payment conditions, and other relevant factors.
4. Issuing purchase orders and managing procurement processes: Buyers handle the official ordering process, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulations, and established protocols.
5. Monitoring contract performance and managing risks: They track deliveries, ensure quality standards are met, address any issues that may arise during the contract period, and identify and mitigate potential risks associated with procurement processes.
