Job Requirements

1. Receiving and Storing: Storekeepers verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders, checking for accuracy and damage. They unload shipments, sort and shelve items according to designated locations, and maintain proper storage conditions.
2. Stock Management: They perform regular inventory checks to monitor stock levels. This might involve using barcode scanners or manual counting. They identify low stock items and prepare purchase requisitions to maintain optimal inventory levels.
3. Organization and Rotation: Storekeepers keep the stockroom organized and ensure easy access to items. They might implement a first-in, first-out (FIFO) system to prevent expired goods.
