Job Requirements

1. Unload incoming deliveries: This involves carefully unloading trucks, boxes, and packages.
2. Inspect and verify inventory: Warehouse assistants check incoming items against packing slips or invoices to ensure accuracy and identify any damages.
3. Label and store inventory: They assign labels with codes or descriptions to items and store them in designated locations according to a warehouse storage system.
4. Maintain accurate inventory records: Updating inventory management systems to reflect the quantity and location of received items.
5. Pick and pack orders: Warehouse assistants retrieve items from storage based on customer orders or shipping requests. They ensure they pick the correct items and quantities.
6. Pack and label orders: They carefully pack the retrieved items into boxes or containers, ensuring proper protection for shipping. They also label the packages with proper addresses and shipping information.
7. Stage orders for shipping: Prepare the packed orders for pickup by delivery carriers or further shipment processing.
