Job Requirements

1. Transactions: Meticulously recording financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles. This involves entering and coding data into accounting software, processing invoices and payments, and reconciling bank statements.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Managing accounts payable (money owed to vendors) and accounts receivable (money owed by customers). This involves processing invoices, making payments, collecting payments, and maintaining accurate ledgers.
3. Payroll: Depending on the company size, some accountants may be involved in calculating payroll taxes and processing employee salaries.
4. Financial Statements: Preparing essential financial statements like the balance sheet (company's assets, liabilities, and equity), income statement (revenue, expenses, and profits), and cash flow statement (cash inflows and outflows).
5. Management Reports: Creating reports that analyze financial data and provide insights to management for informed decision-making. This may involve budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
