Job Requirements

1. Disassembling furniture: Following instructions or working alongside colleagues to carefully disassemble furniture pieces for easier packing and transport.
2. Wrapping and padding furniture: Utilizing packing materials like bubble wrap, packing peanuts, and furniture blankets to protect furniture surfaces from scratches and dents during transit.
3. Packing furniture into boxes or containers: Carefully placing wrapped furniture pieces into appropriate boxes or containers, ensuring items fit securely and are not overloaded to prevent damage.
4. Labeling boxes: Clearly labeling boxes with contents and any handling instructions to facilitate unpacking and organization at the destination.
5. Assisting with loading furniture: Helping to safely lift and load packed furniture onto moving trucks or storage units, following proper lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
6. Securing furniture in transit: Utilizing straps, tie-downs, and other equipment to secure furniture within the moving truck or storage unit to prevent shifting and damage during transportation.
7. Unloading furniture: Assisting with carefully unloading furniture from the moving truck or storage unit, following instructions and maintaining proper lifting techniques.
